Rivet|MRO is a fast-growing marketing services agency that works with independent industrial & electrical distributors to create targeted marketing initiatives that drive results for both distributors and their supplier partners. The Account Manager leads a project from research through implementation of marketing initiatives. Our account managers work in close collaboration with both our clients and internal team members. Note: This is a contract position.
Establish and maintain working relationships with client distributors, distributor vendors and Rivet|MRO vendors
Oversee a group of marketing projects simultaneously and track it on spreadsheets
Maintain/update comprehensive project files
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
Manage one-off projects
Print product and promotional product order management
Work with manufacturers to gather logos, product photography, product descriptions and other potential content for marketing projects
Work alongside internal team members including owner, marketing director, other account managers, writers, and graphic designers
Collaborate with team at status meetings and report progress of projects
QuickBooks management: purchase orders, expense management, invoicing
Other duties, as assigned
Marketing project management experience is a plus
Experience with similar detail management will be considered
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Associates or Bachelor’s degree is a plus
Experience working with independent business owners a plus

Rivet|MRO is a fast-growing marketing services agency that works with independent industrial distributors to create targeted marketing initiatives that drives results for both distributors and their supplier partners. The Research Manager is the first step in project manager career track. The Research Manager manages projects at the inception, collects the research to identify co-op funds through communication with clients, then uses the data gathered to create a smooth transition to project managers and the marketing team to implement marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will work with a team of other project managers and suppliers. Note: This is a contract position.
Potential applicants should have strong analytic skills, proficiency in MS Office packages, excellent verbal and written skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A Research Manager who is successful in their duties is eligible for promotion to Project Manager.

Proactively contact clients via email and phone to finalize research
Oversee research projects simultaneously and track it on spreadsheets
Maintain/update comprehensive project files
Report weekly project status at team meeting to update leadership and project team members
Maintain project follow-up meetings with internal team workers and external clients and vendors
Work alongside internal team members including owner, marketing director, project managers, writers, and graphic designers
Project management experience is a plus
Experience with similar detail management will be considered
Project management experience with a good understanding of a typical project lifecycle
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and time management skills
Good analytical and numerical skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Associates or Bachelor’s degree is a plus
Experience working with independent business owners a plus
