The manufacturing PMI is now up to 60.8 percent in February, which marks the ninth month in a row that we’ve seen expansion in the overall manufacturing economy. This is good news as it indicates a trend of recovery since the start of the pandemic.
Further supporting this information, 16 out of the 18 manufacturing industries reported growth in February. The only two industries not reporting growth are Printing & Related Support Activities and Petroleum Products.
