Account Manager

Position Overview

The Account Manager serves as the primary day-to-day contact for Rivet|MRO clients, ensuring projects move forward smoothly, on time, and within scope.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously and of varying complexity.

The Account Manager leads projects through initiation, research, and implementation of marketing initiatives.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Builds strong, trusted relationships with distributor and supplier clients
  • Communicates timelines, expectations, deliverables, and next steps clearly
  • Manages client approvals, feedback, and decision-making milestones

Project Coordination & Execution

  • Manages multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Coordinates assets, information, and approvals required to start and advance projects
  • Tracks progress and ensure deliverables align with agreed-upon objectives

Internal & Client Collaboration

  • Works closely with creative teams as well as clients and vendors
  • Maintains organized project documentation
  • Attends weekly internal team status and account manager meetings to provide/discuss pertinent project and account management updates
  • Attend client onboarding/kickoff, retrospective, co-op discussion, and other meetings as needed

Process & Accountability

  • Follows Rivet|MRO project workflows and timeline standards
  • Helps reinforce response-time expectations with clients
  • Identifies opportunities to improve client experience and internal efficiency
  • Files all and appropriate information in OneDrive and ClickUp

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2 years of experience in account management, project management, or client services
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with excellent time-management abilities
  • Familiarity with project management tools (ClickUp or similar a plus)
  • QuickBooks management: purchase orders, invoicing
